Below is a list of 50 strange laws from around the country. While the state is listed next to each law below, keep in mind that this doesn’t necessarily mean that this is illegal throughout the entire state. It may be in a certain town, city or county. For example, in Carmel by the Sea, California, it is illegal to wear heels higher than 2″. If you want to wear heels taller than 2″, you must apply for a permit. But it is not illegal in other parts of the state.
